In Memoriam – Charles K. Gains, PC, KTCH

Uncategorized

Sir Knights,
After a lengthy illness, our dear friend Charles K. Gains, PC of Marietta No. 50, laid down his sword this morning at the age of 68.
In 2016, Charlie received the highest individual honor that a Knight Templar can be given.  He received the Knight Templar Cross of Honor for service to Templary far above and beyond the norm.  The KTCH was presented at SK Jerry Pugh’s banquet at the 2016 Grand Conclave, and it was a very emotional moment for many of us considering his ongoing battle with cancer.
SK Gains was also a Knight of the York Cross of Honour.  His Masonic and life achievements are here: https://cawleyandpeoples.com/book-of-memories/3944369/Gains-Charles/index.php
There will be an Honor Guard posted beginning at 6:30 PM on Monday evening at Cawley and Peoples Funeral Home, 408 Front Street, in Marietta.  Sir Knights wishing to participate should bring their Full Templar Uniform and report by 6:15 PM.  A Masonic service will begin at 7:30.
Our deepest condolences to Lady Debbie and Charlie’s entire family in memory of a Sir Knight who truly exemplified the ideals of a Knight Templar.
